Marcia has created her own distinctive style that is based upon the evolution of her characters. Millers Crossing was praised for the versatility of her acting in movies like The First Wives, Meet Joe Black and Mona Lisa Smile. Her next project is as the mother of Christian Grey in the much-anticipated Universal movie Fifty Shades of Grey. The film is scheduled to be released in Valentine's Day, 2015. Some other recent films include Elsa & Fred starring the legend Shirley MacLaine, Christopher Plummer and The ABC comedy Trophy Wife starring Malin Ackerman and Bradley Whitford, and Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight starring Emma Stone and Colin Firth.
