Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox was paid a allowance and worked part-time in order to make ends meet. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox began her career in the year 1976 in a band called Dragons Playground. However, she left before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began working on her first solo album Diva that came out in 1992. Commercially and critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is composed of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs from her childhood. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera a collection of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut independent album and a companion to an art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to become famous internationally in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career with her debut album Diva in 1992. This was the source of many hits songs such as"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features cover versions of the songs No MoreI Love Yous or The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo catalog includes six studio albums as well as a compilation album.
